Had a chance to stop off in Philly this weekend at my favorite breakfast place from when I used to live there: The Morning Glory Diner.
Here I am in front of all the awards at this award-winning diner, awaiting my meal.
Do I seem at all excited to be back on the old stomping grounds, eating my favorite foods and reminiscing about a time when I went to parties and smoked pot with my boyfriend, never inhaling and living in a fat apartment? Very accurate appraisal reader.
MORNING GLORY!
Berries and whipped cream on a biscuit...
MORNING GLORY!
Pecan waffles with peach butter...
MORNING GLORY!
MORNING GLORY!
It's enough to remove all instinct to make biting remarks about the city of Philadelphia!
MORNING GLORY!
Positive thoughts, all!
MORNING GLORY! THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE.
BTW, if you go, prepare to wait in line.
(Yeah, not "on" line, but rather in line, which is how we were reared to say it in CA. Upcoming autobiography: A Million Bones to Pick.)
