It is a rivalry between the Rays and Red Sox. It passed the critical test:
When I see the Rays have lost a game, I mutter "GOOD!"
Oh I am still bitter about 2008. I said I wouldn't be, but I am a petty man.
Also, for all of the talk about how athletic Tampa Bay is and how they will not be intimidated by having a target on their backs... they have a losing record.
Yeah yeah yeah, I know it is early. But we kept hearing how "out of the gate" they will be terrific.
What if they fall back to Earth, a la the Rockies.)
All I know is I'll mutter "GOOD!"
