Zach Duke?

Did you know that Pirates pitcher Zach Duke is already 2-0?

Did you know that he threw a complete game shutout in the Pirates home opener this afternoon?

Did you know that nobody in baseball had more than three complete game shutouts last year?

Duke is 1/3 of the way there.

Duke is a talented pitcher and went 8-2 with a 1.81 ERA in 2005, his rookie year. But he's been hammered with injuries ever since.

Imagine if he turned it around. 

All I can say is about 1 week into the season and I've already had two positive posts about the Pirates.

Well, all I know is Sully Baseball has become a place to hear a Red Sox fan obsess over the Nationals, Marlins and Pirates.

That's a sure fire way to drive traffic up!
