The Pirates are playing against the Tigers just as the Penguins beat the Red Wings.I wonder when the last time the cities facing off for the Stanley Cup also had both teams playing each other in the Major Leagues.
I would look this up, but it is 12:30 AM and these are the kind of idle thoughts that when combined with an internet connection could keep me awake for another 3 hours.

In less than 6 hours, my sons will come running into my bedroom to wake me up and they won't care about Stanley Cup Finals match ups.
