There are two ways to look at the Red Sox wins since Jason Bay arrived...
The First Way:
The removing of the Manny Ramirez distraction has taken a weight off of the Red Sox collective shoulders. And Jason Bay's hustle, defense and power might be the spark the Red Sox needed to kick start what has been a lackluster second half and maybe it will be the turning point similar to the Nomar Garciaparra deal in 2004.
The Second Way:
The A's stink and playing a tomato can instead of a potential World Series winner like the Angels is a nice way to pad the win column.
It might be more of the second way...
But Jason Bay is showing exactly how to win over the fans.
All he has to do is hit the game winning homer or triple in extra innings every game.
