Dibs make National Games worth watching

There's not a lot of reasons to watch a Washington Nationals game this year.

They are on pace to go 48-114 and they play a spectacular brand of bad baseball that makes me wonder if Stephen Strasburg wants any part of being drafted by this team.

So why do I always dial up a Nats game on my MLB.tv package?

ROB DIBBLE!

He and Bob Carpenter make for some of the most entertaining play by play in the game.

Dibble, whose XM radio show I love to call in to, calls the game like a bitter fan.

The Bridgeport native calls the Nationals "We" and sounds disgusted on bad plays (of which there are many.) He ridicules players for bone head plays, he literally will say "Oh my God" when the defense falls apart and gives the pitchers great advice like "Quit pitching like you are facing Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig!"

It's kind of like watching Mystery Science Theater 3000, but instead of Manos the Hands of Fate, it's a ball game.

It's my new guilty pleasure.
