Peeked at Maury

While I ate a quick lunch today I peeked at Maury (read: I am working hard all the time, and this was a detour rather than the general domestic tableau here in hellish Park Slope).

Anyhow, he had a teenaged girl on who had been raped by a babysitter. She told the story of her childhood rape as MP's cameramen went to town on her gorgeous face--getting right on in there, close as possible to her flawless skin and vacant eyes.

Then Maury's emaciated cozy shirt wearing ass pipes up in his generous and soothing professional timbre: "You want to be a model, don't you...?"

The girl and her mother light up. The rape victim goes: "Yes...Yes, I would."

Maury is now on! This is what he does! He's in his element. She's to be trained and have a whole porfolio of pics taken with a someone or another who will help her forge her modeling career! Then the gorgeous young future model smiled.

Maury said: "It's great to see you smile." Maury was thrilled.

She was happy: Hurrah for me! All my dreams are coming true. Her mother was glowing: Me and Maury are turning this thing around!

It was just good television in that everyone was so happy and got what they wanted.
