Really... I need to know what was going through your mind during the 9th inning of last night's bizarre 9-8 Red Sox/Angels game.

The game was tied on the two blown third strike calls. The bases were loaded. There were two outs and Alex Gonzalez hit a shallow fly ball to left.

To your credit you came running in but it fell just in front of you.

And you were standing.

Really?

You didn't think to dive?

Playing it on a hop with two outs and the runner going from third really struck you as a good plan?

Did you think J. D. Drew was tagging from third?

Or did you think "F--- this... I can't handle extra innings."

I hear Manny Ramirez saw that play and said "Christ, is he even paying attention?"
