A funny thing happened on the Twins off day

The Twins didn't play on Thursday and they are still buzzing from their Division Title clinching.

But guess what?
With the Yankees losing, New York dropped to 92-61.
The idle Twins have a record of 92-60.

In the loss column, they are ahead.

Can you say it with me?
As I type this, the Minnesota Twins are THE BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL.

Just something for Twin fans to savor as they eat their Corn Flakes.

Thank you Kansas City!

Maybe I was too harsh when I wrote that there was nothing to say about them.

The Royals had a nice 8th inning rally to beat the Indians and now not only do the Red Sox get the choice of which series they want to play, but the last game is totally meaningless so starters who need a rest can have until Tuesday off.

Thanks Royals!

Oh yeah, you sportswriters I talked to earlier, be sure to mention the Red Sox have the best record in all of baseball for 2007.

Thank you.
